Mind(x) makes powerful music, and has done so for over a decade. Their unique, accessible sounds are developed through adventurous improvisation and exploration. This group draws on more than seventy years of live performance experience between them. Continuous performing at venues throughout the western United States provides inspiration for a still expanding range of musical influences. To call the Mind(x) repertoire eclectic is an understatement. A typical set ventures through an everchanging array of Latin styles, Southern Rock, Calypso, Bluegrass, Zydeco, Celtic and African music.

Mind(x) has played practically every available venue in California, Nevada, Oregon, Washington and Arizona, including legendary spots like the Fillmore, Sweetwater, New George's, The Last Day Saloon, Mystic Theatre, The Catalyst, Humptys/Elevation at North Shore Tahoe and many others. They have also played at many well known festivals including High Sierra, Strawberry and Marin Music Festivals.
